These are beautiful! I would like them in green or red! My favorite thing to make at Christmas is decorated cookies. My husband and I started this tradition while dating. We made about 4 dozen the first year and it took an entire day! Looking back, I can't believe I actually got him to spend the whole day baking! haha!

My mom always makes puppy chow at Christmas and it's so good! We rarely have it the rest of the year, so it's a special treat.

gorgeous earrings! i'd like them in red.

at my house i looooove caramel sticky buns. this is the only time of year i'm potentially up for putting in all that hard work to make them.

My favorite holiday dish is probably my Mom's stuffing. I love me some carbs!

Catskill Quilter said...

What lovely earrings! I would prefer the red. Every Christmas my Mom would make powdered sugar nut balls, and now that she is no longer with us, I continue the tradition, and bake them every year.

Lovely! I also love them in a more oval shape. But for the present, I think I'd go for the red ones.
What I love to eat for Christmas is pretty much anything that is unusual (often because pricey) in our everyday food range: venison stew, lobster or snails (yes, yes! with butter, parsley & garlic!) for savouries, or a Xmas log or an Alaska for dessert, in particular.
Before eating some of these treats, thanks for the chance!

I am a follower of your posts Amy, and a very very pleased customer from your Etsy shop. You make the MOST BEAUTIFUL detailed jewelry. One of my favorite baked treats for the holiday would be any cookie that contained chocolate! My most favorite is a peanut butter suprise cookie where I put milk duds in the center of the cookie dough and bake them. Peanut butter cookie crust surrounding a surprise of milk chocolate and caramel in the center...hmmm heaven on earth! I love both the red and green earrings, but If I were the winner, I would request that you find some deserving young lady, who perhaps will not have much of a Christmas and gift them to her.

These earrings are beautiful. I would definitely give them to my sister as a stuffer for the stocking that I am making her. My favorite holiday treat is puppy chow, although some people call them muddy buddies. :)

These are lovely and I would want them in red in honor of my daughters birthstone. My favorite treat to bake is Russian Teacakes.

It's got to be anything with fruit mince, I mean, who can go past a fruit mince tart!

I love a lasagna - made in advance so it can just be cooked and eaten - no fuss on the day. I also love a apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Goes well with a turkey meal :)

Jackie said...

Love those earrings! I would ask for green. Sugar cookies are a must.

Sally said...

These earring are great! I love the simplicity!

My favorite dish.... I don't so much have a favorite... I used to love peanut butter blossom cookies (the ones with Hershey's kisses in them), but now peanut butter makes me sick :(

Autumn said...

Beautiful! My favorite thing that we have each Christmas is German pancakes with homemade syrup. Yummy! I think that I would go for the green beads.

Paloma said...

Mexican fruit punch is my favorite for the holidays. Our family recipe is a little different from this one: http://mexicanfood.about.com/od/bebidasdrinks/r/ponche.htm - no prunes or booze and a few more ingredients but you get the idea.

The earrings are lovely. I like the green.

Sarita said...

My new favorite holiday dish is coconut whipped cream - just chill a can of coconut milk in the fridge overnight, then turn it upside down and open it from the bottom the next morning. You'll be able to pour off the more watery coconut milk, and be left with the cream... just whip the cream with a hand beater for about a minute, and you've got perfect delicious dairy-free whipped cream.

Thanks for the opportunity to win! :)
