About

 Hello, and welcome.
My name is Amy and this, dear readers, is my blog.  By day, I am  an architectural stained glass historian, by night, a self taught jewelry artisan and budding sewist.

Helen Ethel Studio chronicles my adventures and misadventures in crafting and baking in a little apartment just outside of Philadelphia occupied by me, my fiancé, and our little rescue beagle named Heidi. What you can look forward to: lengthy ramblings regarding fabrics; an assortment of recipes; polymer clay; and the unavoidable frustrations and jubilations as I venture into the world of sewing.

Please, grab a cup of tea and enjoy your visit.  I welcome all of your comments and am always delighted to read them!

If you have any questions for me, or would just like to say hello, please feel free to email me.  Danke!
